Water-based sealant for penetration seal and linear joint seal
HENSOTHERM® Kitt is a water-based, highly flexible, fire resistant fire-protection joint and sealing compound with a fire resistant rate up to 4 hours. For indoor use between solid mineral construction materials for penetration seal and linear joint seal. HENSOTHERM® Kitt is a halogen-free, polymer emulsion based sealing compound that swells when exposed to temperatures above 125 °C to restrict the passage of smoke and fire.

Inside buildings, especially in modern residential and office buildings, a large number of electrical cables run. Many cable sheaths and insulations are combustible and contribute to the spread of fire in case of fire. HENSOTHERM® 7 KS Fabric 1000 E is classified according to EN 1366-3 as a temporary and permanent fire penetration seal for electrical conduits, electrical installation pipes and cable support structures for a fire resistance duration of up to 120 minutes (ETA 22/0125) to restore the fire safety of massive wall structures provided with openings for electrical supply lines.
HENSOMASTIK® Kabelbandage
HENSOMASTIK® Kabelbandage is an A2 glass filament woven fabric coated on both sides with the ablative fire-protection coating HENSOMASTIK® 5 KS Farbeit is used to clad cables and their support and holding structures, and has a fire-protection time of up to 90 minutes. HENSOMASTIK® Kabelbandage is very flexible and thus ideal for wrapping around narrow objects in both interior and exterior spaces.
